Music, music, music... Here is a bird with some electronic power I took the pic and made the sketch as usual. I was sitting outside of a restaurant in Lisbon, Portugal. Several birds came and moved from one chair to another hoping to draw my attention to receive some food (I gave them all my bread). If you wish, you can also view the sketch in progress and some preparatory photos here...
>>> Review from THE DAILY MAIL for this picture: "A bird blares out music from a boombox around his neck: Ben begins by taking a picture of an everyday scene then covers part of the shot with a sketch - transforming the bland backdrops into intriguing scenarios" (Matt Blake, The Daily Mail, July 2012).
Update: See this video showing 18 Pencil Vs Camera images in progress (with a small animation and music). _________________________________________________

Seriously, only a man with the mind of Jesus could pull this off. I have to admit, this really was worth a favourite, and is so amazing, I just have to give it a full score of stars. Not even I could actually do something like this, your skill is amazing. I hope people like I will one day learn to draw like this, because it would seriously change the world of Art. I shall watch you for this, and I hope other people do too. Keep up the wonderful art, it's like mindf**k, and I wonder if you agree
To deal with this photo, I have to write a critique on what I would think about this, and what the photo is.
Vision: As in my critique on "Pencil v.s. Camera - 65", the photography's all the range. There are two birds in this picture. The pencil drawing of a bird looks very realistic. Background and props are in perfect order. Originality and Technique: With a camera like Canon EOS, there is absolutely a 100% chance of taking photos like these. You are much more skilled in combined photography and drawing. Impact: This is what I really like. Conceptual photos are much more the type. I still am very impressed.
I'm afraid possibly unlike the other 35,020 people who have viewed this I really do not know what to say. I am simply "blown away" by the talent in front of my eyes. What a wonderful artist you are and what a fantastic imagination. I could view your work all day. Thank you so much for sharing this with us on d.a. Simon

Keep it up, Mr. Heine!
