NEW: I'm now making music, please JOIN ME ON SOUNDCLOUD!

No more violence! This work is dedicated to the 5 killed and
125 wounded people in the recent gun and grenade attack in
Liège (Belgium). Weapons are useless. I ripped the paper and
held it in a different way so that it works with my drawing...

If you wish, you can view the work in progress (part of it)
and some random detail here.

My Pencil Vs Camera works are now featured on CBS News.

The message, portrayed by this work indicates ideology and its cyclical nature. Using man's fragmented nature, highlighted through violence, this advocates a Rousseau type view of 'a cry back to nature' the man with the rope being the catalyst for revolution, taking humanity to an almost pre lapsarian state. The child, his back turned to the gun, a negative aspect of humanity highlights the portrayal of innocence and hope. Therefore, this image has a narrative that 'no more violence' is not a progression, it a step towards a more idyllic pasttime. This highlights to the viewer that human nature is malleable and can be evaluated by the individual for there own means, and the gun blending into the wall shows a familiarity between violence and human existance.
