PS: Good news! I’ll be one of the co-organizers for the next "Tour de France Photo" from the 14th till the 28th of April 2013, I’ll be visiting 12 French cities for photo shootings and collaborations... If you can manage to travel to France, registrations for models, make up artists and photographers are still open! _________________________________________________

Found this in the latest uploads section and was quite taken by it. Then I recognized the artist name, someone I'm a fan of and following already.
Its a really distinctive image. The composition is outstanding. The central position of the model is perfect. She is right in the centre of an amazing symmetry of complex lines and shapes that surround and point to her.
The post work is equally excellent, original and distinctive, like a sophisticated pencil drawing crossed with HDR.
The model is beautiful and well posed though when I look carefully she looks like she might be a little bit cold. That's really the only fault I can find with this. It's very minor and I only noticed that after a while of staring at the image writing this critique.
I don't agree with the previous critique that the model should be left in colour. Partial colour shots sometimes work but have been overdone in the past now tend towards cliché. The composition and slightly darker tones of the model are easily enough to provide a strong emphasis on the subject. And the monochrome style of this work is what makes it really stand out, what makes it fresh and original.
first of all a great pic i love the contrasts of light because you have no really dark pieces and the model in the middle is well chosen i love the setting becasuse its on a fair ground ride so all ready providing a happy aora but then when you look at the girl she looks slightly upset or suprised but still i love the picture because it gives a really retro lookbut i would have kept the colour of the girl because then she would stand out moreor kept the colour of the side rails but overall i great pic well done!!
