"Look on the rising Sun: there God does live
And gives his light, and gives his heat away.
And flowers and trees and beasts and men receive
Comfort in morning, joy in the noon day."
- William Blake, The Little Black Boy (1789)

I find the title interesting in regards to the picture. Religious symbols have typically been depicted (at least in the Abrahamic religions)symmetrically, with God or other deity/saint at the middle. Of course, there are fewer symmetries to be found in nature than the symmetries humankind creates in art/architecture, but here you've found a vista that approaches a bi-axial symmetry, but misses it considerably, especially due to the position of the sun. Symbolically, then, your piece speaks to the evolving perception of faith in our society. You simple but prolific deceleration of faith in the title when accepted in relationship to the image, suggests that God is ubiquitous and his worship is not confined to the church walls (not a new idea, of course), lending a more provocation to your piece than one might accept on first glance.

Sorry for the long comment, but it had me thinking!

Who could not believe in God, "a god" or some "higher being" when presented with such beauty?

Wonderful work.

Nice concept and I believe well executed. The only critique I could offer is the connection between the earth and sky doesn't seem to be "real" and the perspective is a little off. But minor things. I still really like it, you'll be my first favourite at DA.
