Wavering Visions

A poem by Bilal Anaim

Wavering visions of lost dreams
and hopes sink deep inside

Thoughts elicit emotions
a dark frown over the mind

Darkness, closing in on you
as Death creeps up behind

Gray existences queuing ahead
a question is always asked

Where does this road end
be not afraid of the bend

find the best shadows and
live within til you blend

This is not my area of expertise, but out of your many pieces, i am fondest of this one,

I really like how solid the black it, and appreciate that you went with a matte black, as it makes the red pop.

In contrast to your other multi-colored pieces, this one only focuses on two colors, and emphasizes the shape and the direction of the splatter by using contrast.

This piece is rather dark in personal opinion, and seems bloody without actually having gore.

I love how the red both explodes from his body, and restrains him.

All in all this is a lovely piece, and requires some amount of thought.

I have seen splatter pieces before and thus lowers the originality. I believe this piece has a high impact, IT may have been dulled in personal opinion by my trolling of your gallery. :)
