Taken 2 days ago in Lille, France. These crocuses were really tiny, a few centimeters may be. I used a simple 70 mm lens but enhanced the whole image in CS4 afterwards. Several hours of work to get the results I wanted. The photo is not reframed, it actually is a montage of several of my photos. Please enlarge HERE (900 pixels wide, 72 dpi).
There is no specific meaning in this image. The main thing I wanted to express when I took the photos is the way fragile little things can appear big and strong sometimes, and beautiful of course. But your own interpretation is more important. ____________________________________________________

We're not yet close to seeing these beauties; the surface of the garden is still under much snow. Thanks for the foretaste of spring. The colors of the crocuses, and the hint of fog in the background, are beautiful.
