NEW: Prints of this artwork now available!

This image is about exploration, shamanism and self-revelation.

My new giant 3D drawing featuring a tiger and an owl in a dense
forest. It is part of my "Pencil Vs Camera" series (the concept is
totally reversed in this image, though, the only piece of reality in
the composition is the human model). The animals and the forest
are actually anamorphic sketches drawn on a huge piece of paper
in my studio, no more, no less than optical illusions.

A quiet tiger, a scary owl and an imprudent artist, maybe a fun trio.
I took the photo (using a tripod and a self timer) and also made the
big sketch (handmade, as usual). View the work in progress at this
link
or on my blog to understand how I made it.

This is truthfully a beautiful and bold piece! I love the idea of showing dimension and depth with only black and white shading, plus color on the side. Very impressive and illusionist! I also think the way the tiger stares out into my eyes is just phenomenal, very entreating and a good point of interest. Please keep doing this series of yours, it is really coming a long way and it inspires me to do something bigger than what I would usually do, maybe not particularly in size though. Again, great use of pencil work, shading, dimension and creativity. This piece was the only one that stood out to me when I was looking through people's works!

This. This is truly magnificant.
Its so original and simply fantastic, the combonation of the huge drawing and the photograph is just brilliant, with contrast of the black and white against the bright colours give this piece an astounding impact. Also the simplistic against the intricate drawings really emphasise the skill involved, the fact that this isnt a flat drawing but is made to appear so using the 3D is Pure God-Like Talent.
Anyone who reads this and has not seen the behind the scene work simply must! It really shows the massive amount of work that has gone into this brilliant piece!
The Vision, The Originality, The Texhnique, The Impact - All just to amazing, there are not enough stars for me to give you.
This has definatly been my favourite work i have ever seen from you after the years i have followed your work, the thought behind your pieces are so thought provoking and inspirational, i only wish to say thank you! This has truly shocked and amazed me as you continue to stride in improvement with all your wok.
