Unless the United States withdraws its military forces from Iraq in the near future, a war that began as an unnecessary invasion based on deception and predictably grew into a disastrous occupation will go down in history as a terrible crime, if it hasn't already. For Americans of conscience, Iraq has therefore become the paramount moral issue of our time.

I don't know if you meant this, but I'm guessing your representing the U.S. as an image of the KKK which everyone associates with evil. However, if you look at the facts you'll see that the KKK and Terrorist groups are very much alike. So wouldn't it be immoral to not stop the evil.

(also, it seems funny that when the KKK was around many southerns saw the KKK as heros for protecting them from the radical republicans, and the U.S. government is seen good for stopping them.

Yet when the U.S. tries to stop a terrorist group it gets demonized, just a thought)

there a political cartoon that shows this

1. Punishment must be cruel and unusual to be effective
2. If you don't like the U.S. you can leave, we don't want you anyway.
3. 90% of anarchists would die during the first few hours of an anarchy.

Very interesting comparison and explanations, but in my case, I didn't really want to refer to the KKK in this cartoon. It's just a coincidence that this Abu Ghraid symbol looks similar to the KKK uniform.

Are you possibly talking about Abu Ghraib. I haven't heard about anything concerning Abu Ghraid (pardon my ignorance.)

I get your message, I was born in the US and there are quite a bit (more like a lot) that I hate, and I became something that everone in this world hates.
