What thoughts race across The sleepy lids of those Who dream with eyes wide open Never closed Where Imagination and Reality Meet Where colors look like fireflies Across the evening skies And flowers taste like candy A little girl races across the night Believing in what no one ever could Wishing can make it so Dreams are the wishes we wish When we are awake Little girl dreaming And if you wish long enough Your little girl dreams will come true
You never cease to astound me with your innovation. The color scheme is wonderful, and the overall piece is reminiscent of a stained glass window. I love how some of the colors on the ground level snuck into the background, and vice versa. If there is one thing that I would like to see differently, it would have to be the transition from the ground to the background. For the most part, every other section of colors seems to have its own set location, and when it switches from different color blacks, it is an abrupt transition. The fact that it is subtle in comparison to the rest of the piece throws me off a little. I don't know if This might just be a personal taste thing for me, because I don't know if it really takes away from the piece at all. One more last thing is that you kind of lose her shoes a bit at the bottom. I am curious to see how this would look blown up, and far away. Overall, I am blown away with this piece, and I love how you were still able to capture minute details like facial features using nondescript shapes. I hope to see more of this technique from you!
This is just excellent. By using the abstract your skill allows you to keep the realism of the image od the girl. I love this. I can see how and why this works. You are teaching me a great deal and I thank you for it.
Wow! I've always loved this kind of art ever since I was in grade school. It's very beautiful and well balanced. The little girl is cute. It reminds me of simpler times of childhood.

My tongue speaks a lexicon for the beautiful, the beatific, and the damned perversions that skulk in the night.
